One hour after Wednesday’s close, four earnings reports land in the same window: Meta, Tesla, Lam Research, and Texas Instruments. Their release times fall between 04:30 and 05:30 Thursday Beijing time.

Options are pricing in moves of 7.3% to 8.4% on earnings day for these four companies. The standout is Lam Research at 8.18%—but it isn’t the highest. The stock has fallen for 10 straight trading days since October 2, dropping 24%, and is down 39% from its June 30 high.

After a nearly 40% decline, the market still expects it could move another 8% on earnings day.

At the other end, Netflix is at 9.50%, the highest for the whole week, and reports a day earlier than these four (04:01 Wednesday Beijing time). Last week, it moved just 0.33%.

Lam Research has fallen the most, but its implied move ranks only second among the four; Netflix has barely moved, yet it’s the most expensive name of the week.

A total of 212 companies report this week, with a combined market cap of $11.69 trillion. Wednesday alone accounts for $6.63 trillion, or 57%. Thursday has the most companies reporting—80—but their combined market cap is only $2.41 trillion. The bulk of the weight falls on the day with fewer companies.
