Oct 19 $BTC Comprehensive Market Analysis

✊ Market News:

Overall, the news was relatively quiet over the weekend, and prices were mainly influenced by technical recovery and low liquidity.

The macroeconomic pressure from the previously higher-than-expected CPI/PPI figures remains. The market is focused on the upcoming Federal Reserve meeting (October 27–28). Risk appetite has yet to fully recover, and some altcoins are underperforming BTC.

✊ Fund Flows:

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs remain weak. On October 16, they saw net outflows of about $82.4M (mainly from IBIT). This week (approximately October 12–16), net outflows totaled about $228.6M. Cumulative net outflows for October have widened to about $617M, with outflows over the past two weeks approaching the $900M range. Trading volume remains active, but institutional buying has yet to return in any significant way, so fund flows continue to be a source of pressure.

✊ Technical Analysis:

Bitcoin is still performing very strongly at its current level, outperforming most altcoins. As I’ve consistently pointed out, the pullback at this weekly-chart level is unlikely to be very steep. After more than ten days of correction, it is still trading around 81,000. It has not decisively broken below the previous high. Next, watch whether it can hold above the resistance at 83,500. If it does, that would mean this pullback trend has ended.

However, I personally think the market still needs some time to consolidate around its current level. If there’s a chance to retest the 75K–78K range, I think that would be a good opportunity to enter in stages.

In the short term, watch the four-hour and one-hour charts to see whether the rebound can continue from this level.

Support: 81,300–79,000
Resistance: 83,500–84,500
