🧠 OVERCOMING TRADING ADDICTION | 07/45

💸 I USED TO DREAM OF DOUBLING MY ACCOUNT EVERY MONTH. NOW I JUST WANT TO TRADE WITH DISCIPLINE!

I used to think trading had to make me a lot of money, really quickly, to be worth the effort.

Aiming to double my account every month sounded very appealing. But there was one problem...

When we set profit targets too high, it’s easy to put pressure on ourselves to trade.

📈 See a setup that isn’t great, but still want to enter. 🔥 Win once, then want to win even more. 😰 The end of the month is approaching and you haven’t hit your target, so you start getting anxious.

And most dangerously, little by little, I stopped trading based on what the market allowed and started trying to force the market to meet my expectations.

After paying the price time and again, I started seeing things differently.

These days, making 10–15% in a month would be fantastic. But that’s not a mandatory target, and certainly not a return I can be sure of achieving.

Some months I make a small profit, some I break even, and some I even lose money. That’s a reality we have to accept.

🎯 What I want to focus on now is:

Trade less, but be more selective.

Don’t increase risk just to hit a target.

Don’t turn a day without profits into a failed day.

💡 I’ve realized something: Making money quickly can make you feel excited, but staying disciplined when you’re not making money is what’s truly hard.

I’m still not break-even when I look at my entire trading journey. So I have no success story to teach anyone how to get rich.

I’m just learning to slow down, so I don’t keep paying the price for my own impatience.
