😭 The whale who went long with 40x leverage on $BTC last night finally gave up.
Then, about an hour later, he turned around and went long on Tesla…

📌 Hyperliquid on-chain data (address 0x30af…6393e):
• Between 00:17 and 05:12 on 10/19, he gradually closed all of his roughly 1,356 BTC long position at an average exit price of about $80,945, realizing a loss of around $1.31 million (he was not liquidated).
• Starting at 06:19, he opened a 20x long on Tesla (TSLA) stock perpetuals, worth about $34.5 million. Including SOXL and DRAM, his total stock-contract positions are around $45.8 million.
• His average BTC entry price was about $81,914. BTC is now around $82,300, back above his entry price 😅

💭 My take: If you can't take the heat, closing out isn't shameful. But cutting your position near the lows and immediately going 20x in another market isn't admitting you're wrong—it's just taking on leverage somewhere else.

If you were him, what would you do?
A Close out and take a break
B Switch markets and keep going
