Watching the market move like this, staying on the sidelines would’ve been a pretty good decision—but I jumped in anyway, and here are the results of this week’s public self-review 💀. Last week, I closed 12 trades: 7 winners, 5 losers, for a 58.3% win rate 😅. Honestly, that’s not good enough, and I need to take a serious look at what went wrong.
The two biggest losses worth talking about were $AVA and GNS. With AVA, I went LONG at $0.3922 on 18-10, but it broke below the $0.345000 invalidation level just a few hours later. My mistake was putting too much faith in the initial momentum and ignoring signs that the broader market was weakening ✍️. GNS was similar: I went LONG at $0.698 on 14-10, but my stop was completely wiped out when it broke below $0.500000. Clearly, I confused price compression with a genuine lack of volume, which led me to enter before I had enough confirmation. Greed and impatience are my two biggest enemies 🙏.
The winning trades—GTC, ZIL, TIA, SOXSB, EPIC, and WAL—mostly came from catching the right move in a small wave or a price reaction at key levels. I was pretty happy with the SOXSB trade too: LONG at 46.22 and closed at 50.000000 🫡.
