CoreWeave has plunged about 25% in a week. I’m not catching a falling knife amid the AI debt panic.

CRWV fell from a close of 82.08 on 10/9 to 61.39 on 10/16, down about 25%.

It plunged another 12% on Friday alone. Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell for an eighth straight day, its longest losing streak since 2008.

The debt market is even more alarming: reports say junk bond yields have climbed to around 15%–16%, as the market reprices financing for AI infrastructure.

Jensen Huang said, “This too shall pass,” but the stock and bond markets are still voting with their feet.

My take: this isn’t the story of a single stock; it’s the entire AI leverage chain being put to the test.

I’m watching, not chasing—and definitely not buying the dip when panic is at its loudest.

If it stabilizes: After Meta’s earnings next week, I’ll start watching for a potential long again if CRWV can reclaim 70 and bond yields stop climbing.

Thesis invalidation: If it breaks below 55 again, or the debt market continues to deteriorate, I’ll downgrade this to a wait-and-see.

What do you think: should we wait for Meta’s earnings to gauge demand, or first watch for CRWV’s bond yields to turn lower?
