BTC reclaimed sustained uptrends on the 1-hour and 1.5-hour timeframes today. Targets and potential breakdown levels are shown in the screenshots. The furthest primary target is $83,097. By the way, bulls reclaimed the uptrend on the 1.5-hour timeframe for the first time since October 12. The overnight move below $81,000 has so far turned out to be a long squeeze.

For now, however, today's rise does not look like a broad-based, genuine market trend. At least in the current hour, only three of the top 200 assets have shifted into an hourly uptrend alongside BTC. Still, this poses a threat to the bears, since altcoins could follow suit fairly quickly if buyers remain strong.
Locally, the asset has a Strong signal indicating a potential high on the 5- and 10-minute timeframes. In addition, on most lower timeframes (and on the hourly timeframe as well), the price has reached liquidity zones acting as resistance.

So the impulse has most likely run its course for now, and the price has entered consolidation. At least for a couple of hours. After that, we'll need to watch how price reacts to local support and resistance levels.
On the hourly chart, the nearest important horizontal resistance level is $82,500. As long as the hourly candle closes below it, we maintain the view that the rebound is over and new uptrends will not gain significant traction. Other important support and resistance levels on the hourly chart are shown in the screenshot. The $81,535–$82,500 zone is an area of impulsive moves.
