【If BNB drops to $600, would you dare to buy?】

I’m not trying to scare you. I’ve been in this business for over 20 years, and before every major correction, people ask me, “Will it keep falling?” Then when it actually does, they don’t dare to make a move.

Let’s talk about where BNB stands now. On the daily chart, the $ 722 level is a bit tricky—the resistance zone above is 750–780, while the support range below is 680–700. It’s down 3.3% over the past 7 days, but up just 0.2% in the past 24 hours. What does that tell us? Both bulls and bears are sitting on the sidelines; no one wants to make the first move. Trading volume is shrinking, market sentiment is neutral (FGI 53), and BTC dominance remains elevated at 60%. In conditions like these, coins tend to move in tandem rather than on their own.

The 4-hour chart gives us a clearer picture. The lows are around 680, while the highs have repeatedly tested 750 without breaking through, forming the beginnings of a contracting triangle. For a directional move, we’ll need a high-volume breakout from this triangle; otherwise, the price will likely continue to chop around. On the 1-hour chart, there’s minor support around 700. If that breaks, short-term stop-loss orders could be triggered.

Bulls are watching to see whether BNB can break above 750; if it can’t, they should be cautious. Bears are watching 680—if that level breaks, the price could fall to 650 or even lower.

Some might ask whether BNB’s business fundamentals still hold up. In my view, Binance’s fundamentals haven’t changed much. Its ecosystem is still running, and its burn mechanism is still in operation. A 47% pullback isn’t unprecedented historically—we’ve seen it in 2019 and 2020. In fact, that’s when long-term investors start taking a closer look.

There’s only one thing that would truly overturn my view: a sudden surge in trading volume. Whether the move is up or down, a breakout without volume is a fakeout.

What this comes down to is whether you want to build a position in this range now—it depends on your time horizon. For short-term traders, buying low and selling high in this range is fine. For long-term holders, gradually buying below 700 shouldn’t be a problem, but don’t go all in at once.

What’s your take on this move? Do you think BNB can make a run of its own, or will it keep moving in tandem with BTC?
