It now has 7,808 BTC, worth about $638 million at $81,700 per coin. Its holdings increased by 31 BTC over the past 30 days—that’s still the usual pace of one coin a day.
But when the IMF disbursed $138 million earlier this month, it made things pretty clear: all the coins added after June 2025 were privately donated, and the government didn’t use public funds. Going forward, it shouldn’t add to its holdings except through donations.
Who donated them, and how much each donor gave, still hasn’t been disclosed.
One coin a day barely makes a ripple in daily trading volume. I think you’re reading too much into it if you’re chasing this as bullish news.
