【The day my stop-loss got hit, I rethought this STRK move】
Last Friday, when my stop-loss kicked me out, I was pretty frustrated. Not because of how much I lost, but because I misread the timing—I thought the price would break down immediately, but the market ended up grinding sideways here for several days.
That’s where STRK is right now.
At $0.072, it’s down nearly 10% over 24 hours, but it’s still in the green over 7 days. What does this kind of move tell us? The market is hesitant here. It’s reluctant to push straight down, but it also doesn’t have enough strength to move higher.
Here’s how I see it from a few different angles:
First, valuation. After falling 98%, it’s still at this level. Looking at price alone, much of the risk has already been priced in. Of course, being undervalued doesn’t mean it’ll rally right away, but it at least gives investors a reason to take a look.
Second, trading volume. Volume has surged unusually recently, exceeding 5% of the market cap. In my experience, that often means big money is on the move. Someone could be accumulating, or someone could be distributing—we’ll need to watch and see which. But one thing is clear: the dynamics of retail investors battling it out here are starting to change.
Third, the price level itself. The $0.068–$0.081 range is crucial. The fact that it has held for so long suggests there’s money defending this area. If it breaks below, I’m looking at $0.05; if it breaks above, I’m looking at $0.10.
What would make me admit I’m wrong? If fundamentals don’t improve significantly next week, but the price still breaks above $0.085, then I’ve underestimated certain forces, and I’ll admit it. If it keeps trading sideways in this range, I’ll stick with my current view.
What are the real-world implications? Short-term traders, market makers, and arbitrage capital will all be affected. In the long run, if STRK can stabilize at this level, developers in the ecosystem will have more time to get things done. That’s what really matters.
What about you? Do you think it can really break out this time, or will it keep grinding sideways?
STRK’s direction over the next 7 days: ➡️ sideways.
I’m bearish if it breaks below $0.068 and bullish if it breaks above $0.085. Until then, I’m staying on the sidelines.
