【When traditional capital starts “hoarding coins,” things change】

For a while in 2019, BTC was moving sideways just like this. Market sentiment was neither here nor there, and trading volume was weak. Most people thought the party was over, but those who were really active in the space knew it was the prelude to big money accumulating.

That’s what TRX feels like now.

The price has been stuck between 0.327 and 0.342 for two weeks. It can’t go up or down, and 24-hour trading volume has shrunk noticeably. Put simply, a decisive move is approaching, and the market is waiting for a signal.

But what I’ve been watching lately isn’t the chart—it’s news from the past 48 hours: Tron’s treasury holds more than $200 million worth of TRX, and the Nasdaq-listed company behind it plans to raise another $200 million specifically to buy TRX.

What does this mean in practice? A publicly traded company is using money from traditional financial markets to continuously increase its holdings of tokens from its own ecosystem. This isn’t retail investors buying the dip; it’s organized, planned capital allocation.

In the past, this only happened with BTC and ETH. Now TRX is at the table too.

Does the business logic hold up? Is it sustainable? That’s what matters. As long as this company can keep raising money from the market, it won’t stop adding to its holdings. As for how far this could push the price—I can’t say, but it’s a variable worth watching.

This is the question I’m stuck on: Once the ATM financing capacity is used up, where will the next round of funding come from? Can this model be replicated with other MemeCoins?
