I know a guy who used to drive a taxi. Later, he got into crypto and built his account into eight figures by sticking to a set of simple rules.

Let me make one thing clear: nobody can guarantee steady profits. If someone swears they can make you 99.99%, stay away. I’m only talking about what to do, not selling you a myth.

Step one: Start with the daily chart.
Only pay attention when the daily MACD forms a golden cross, ideally above the zero line. Treat golden crosses below the zero line as noise. It’s not that the price definitely won’t rise; I just don’t want to waste energy on the noise. $OGN

Step two: Keep just one daily moving average.
Hold above the line; get out below it. Turn off the rest. The more lines you have, the more tempted you’ll be to act, and the muddier your judgment gets. My view is pretty unsophisticated: stick with simple rules long enough, and they work better than clever indicators.

Step three: Scale in and out.
If the price moves above the daily moving average and volume confirms it, consider entering. Don’t go all in as soon as it breaks out. Scale out in three portions: after a gain of 40% or more, sell one-third; after a gain of 80% or more, sell another third; if it falls below the daily moving average, sell the rest. Take profits in stages instead of betting your life on a single bullish candle.

Step four: If it breaks below, get out. Don’t hope for the best.
If you buy above the moving average and it unexpectedly breaks below it the next day, sell everything. This signal doesn’t fail often, but if you stubbornly hold through even one breakdown, the tuition can be expensive. Wait for it to move back above the daily moving average before buying back in. That’s not revenge trading; it means the signal has lit up again.

The strategy is simple because it’s repetitive: daily golden cross, above the moving average, scale out as it rises, get out completely if it breaks below. Do that for two or three years. Your account grows not because of one miraculous trade, but because I really did get out on the day it broke below. The hardest part isn’t picking coins; it’s keeping your hands steady.

I wrote up how to follow these four steps and whether to get out on a breakdown at @鑫鹰说财 . If you’re still going all in based on gut feeling, drop a coin name in the comments. I’ll only tell you whether it’s above the moving average, not whether it’ll go up a hundredfold.
