$DUSK $DOT $DNA Standard Chartered is making a bold move. Eligible high-net-worth clients in the UAE can now buy Bitcoin and Ethereum directly through their Standard Chartered bank accounts—no separate exchange account or self-managed wallet needed. Trading, settlement, and custody all take place within the bank, under VARA’s supervision. It’s the first international bank in the UAE to do this. Don’t underestimate the significance: most major international banks still offer only custody, ETFs, and derivatives, and very few handle spot BTC/ETH. There are three main hurdles: high capital costs, difficulty aligning cross-border licensing and on-chain risk controls, and slow upgrades to legacy systems. Standard Chartered is testing the waters with professional investors first; the signal matters more than the scale. Banks are starting to bring crypto assets into their wealth-management offerings. Let’s see who follows. What do you think?#Celestia推出AI智能体测试链Eden
