๐Ÿšจ CIRCLE REPORTS $1.4 BILLION IN REVENUE IN THE FIRST HALF OF 2026, WITH ONLY 7% LEFT AS PROFIT!
๐Ÿ’ฐ Circle reported approximately $1.4 billion in revenue during the first six months of 2026. However, most of that revenue was allocated to USDC distribution partners and operating costs.
๐Ÿ“Š Notable financial breakdown:
๐Ÿ”น $819 million (59%) went to USDC distribution partners and transaction costs.
๐Ÿ”น $473 million (34%) was spent on licensing, banking relationships, payment liquidity, compliance, and product development.
๐Ÿ”น The remaining approximately 7% of revenue was described as net profit.
๐Ÿ’ต USDC continues to expand its payment operations
Circle said that customers using the Circle Payments Network (CPN) and eligible customers on the Circle Platform can now redeem USDC for free, nearly in real time, 24/7.
According to figures published by Circle, USDC recorded more than $36 trillion in on-chain transaction volume in the first half of 2026. In June alone, USDC accounted for around 77% of global stablecoin transaction volume.
๐Ÿ“Œ What does this mean?
USDC is playing a significant role in the stablecoin and blockchain payments ecosystem. However, high transaction volume does not necessarily translate into corresponding revenue or profit, as Circle still has to share revenue with partners and cover substantial operating costs.
Going forward, the ability to expand USDC use cases, optimize costs, and sustain stablecoin demand will be worth watching.
