Bitcoin $BTC — where does it go from here?

Yesterday: I thought it would go up (“once the bad news is out, that’s good news”), but the price first dropped to 79,800 before bouncing back to 82,600—the ride was really frustrating.

1. Compared with yesterday, the bulls are stronger now

Liquidation pressure from long positions below: about $1.5 billion → about $2 billion
Liquidation pressure from short positions above: about $2.5 billion → about $1.2 billion

2. Key price levels to watch

81,500: The first dense cluster below; a break below this level triggers the first wave of liquidations
80,000: The next level down; the buffer starts to thin out here

83,000: The first cluster of short positions above
83,800: A break above this level would trigger the strongest short squeeze

3. Possible scenarios

Downward: Break below 81,500 → the dense long-position cluster around 80,000 → the buffer is thin in this range, so liquidations could cascade

Upward: Hold above 83,000 to start squeezing shorts → 83,800 → 84,500

4. My take

Based on today’s data, the bulls are stronger, and most of the negative news has been priced in. I’m leaning toward a rise.

Don’t ask why. Just know I’m still holding my long position!
