Nasdaq-listed Tron Inc. has just filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to establish an at-the-market (ATM) equity offering of up to approximately $200 million. The filing says the proceeds will primarily be used to continue buying $TRX .
TRX is the native token on the TRON blockchain, used to pay transaction fees, vote, and stake.
An ATM offering lets a company sell shares in batches at market prices, without necessarily selling the full amount. The company has transformed from a toy and gift business into a publicly traded TRX treasury strategy. This offering effectively opens another “sell shares to buy tokens” tap; the key question is how much it will actually use.
