#沃什推动缩减前瞻指引和点阵图 The Fed is starting to “keep quiet”—will BTC become harder to trade?

Warsh is about to give the markets a jolt.

According to a Reuters report on October 15, Fed Chair Warsh is pushing to scale back forward guidance and is even considering scrapping the quarterly dot plot. Put simply, the Fed would reveal less about its policy leanings, leaving the market to read the data and place its bets.

But the problem is that what markets fear most isn’t bad news—it’s not knowing what comes next.

U.S. CPI rose 3.7% year over year in September, so inflationary pressures remain. Differences within the Fed over how to communicate policy are also growing. The market will have to reassess where interest rates are headed.

Is this ultimately bearish or bullish for BTC?

I think the key isn’t whether the dot plot is scrapped, but whether that makes the market more sensitive.

If inflation comes in higher than expected, rate-cut expectations could cool and BTC could come under pressure. If the data weakens, rate-cut expectations could rise and risk assets could rebound.

But with less explicit policy guidance, expectations could shift more sharply after data releases.

From here on, every CPI, PPI, and jobs report could be a catalyst for market moves.

Don’t rush to bet on a direction. In macro trading, the biggest mistake isn’t getting it wrong once—it’s refusing to admit it when you do.

The Fed may say less, but that doesn’t mean the market will be any less volatile.

Do you think scrapping the dot plot would make BTC harder to trade?
