$BTC ETF flows are starting to diverge sharply!
BTC sees $261 million in outflows in a single day!
ETH loses another $130 million.
But XRP and ZEC buck the trend, attracting inflows!
Six crypto ETFs go head-to-head as investors choose new directions!
On October 14, Eastern Time, flows into U.S. spot crypto asset ETFs diverged sharply. BTC saw net outflows of $261.46 million, ETH saw net outflows of $129.51 million, SOL saw net outflows of $1.29 million, and HYPE also saw outflows of $4.95 million. Meanwhile, XRP ETFs recorded net inflows of about $740,400, and ZEC ETFs saw net inflows of $3.68 million. Across the six asset types, total net outflows were about $393 million, leaving overall flows under pressure.
What’s really worth watching is that BTC and ETH continue to bear the brunt of outflows, while XRP and ZEC are attracting allocations against the trend—indicating a shift in investor preference among different crypto assets. However, inflows into XRP and ZEC remain relatively small and are not yet enough to confirm a large-scale rotation into altcoins. Next, watch whether the two major ETFs can stem the outflows, and whether inflows spread further to other assets such as SOL.
BTC and ETH continue to bleed, while some altcoin ETFs are already seeing buying against the trend.
If this divergence in flows continues to widen, the leaders of the next market rally may emerge early!
