#沃什推动缩减前瞻指引和点阵图

The Fed has shifted course. Warsh has begun scaling back forward guidance, and the dot plot has also been significantly downplayed. Officials used to set clear expectations, and everyone traded stocks according to the script. Now the script is gone, so markets can only respond to objective data.

This has directly changed how the market prices assets. Without policy signals to fall back on, stock price swings have grown noticeably larger whenever nonfarm payrolls or CPI data are released, and short-term rises in the VIX have become the norm. Over the longer term, policy uncertainty has pushed up risk premiums. High-valuation assets and highly leveraged companies that depend on liquidity are under greater pressure, while sectors with steady cash flows are more likely to attract safe-haven investment.

Trading has gone from “following the map” to “betting based on the cards,” making it much harder. Volatility is here to stay; solid fundamentals are the bedrock.
