I went over today's market action before bed. Honestly, there was quite a lot of information in today's moves.
BTC fluctuated between 79,800 and 82,092 today, then closed at 80,198, down 2.64% for the day. The most notable thing about this move isn't the price change itself, but whether trading volume kept up. Today's volume was 1.807 billion USDT, which honestly isn't very active, suggesting market sentiment is still fairly cautious.
ETH was a little weaker, down 4.63% for the day and closing at 2,340, with a range of 2,318 to 2,453. Its correlation with BTC is still very clear: when BTC isn't moving, it's hard for ETH to move independently.
The biggest mover today was $? It gained ? for the day, with volume of ?. This kind of move usually means either that money positioned itself early, or that sentiment-driven trading amplified the volatility.
The key signal today: whether BTC can see a surge in volume at a critical level will determine the direction from here. Tomorrow, I'll be watching closely to see if BTC can hold the xxx level.
More tomorrow.
