There was a $176 million inflow on Tuesday
I thought institutions had changed their minds
Then on Wednesday, about $262 million flowed right back out
A complete change of heart in one day
The longer-term picture is even clearer
$BTC ETFs saw a net outflow of about $151 million this week
After $681 million in net outflows last week
$ETH saw about $130 million flow out on Wednesday
About $190 million in outflows so far this week
SOL ETFs have now seen outflows for 8 straight trading days
$XRP was the only one that managed to save face
A modest inflow of about $740,000 on Wednesday
The only positive figure across the categories
My own feeling is
Institutions are either firmly bearish or afraid to hold overnight
CPI just gave everyone a scare
And PPI is coming tonight
They’d rather stay on the sidelines until the data is out
BTC is hovering around $80,700
Sentiment was already fragile after it fell below $82,000
If ETF flows don’t turn positive again
The rebound will be missing its most reliable source of spot buying
