Three things hit us at once: the fallout from the fund crisis, a strong headwind from America, and the Central Bank’s cautious stance.
The odds of the Fed raising interest rates in October suddenly jumped from 18% to 50%, then fell back to around 25% today. If rates rise, the dollar strengthens, and foreign investors pull their money out of countries like ours. In my view, the most likely scenario is a narrow trading range between 11,900 and 12,500 until the Central Bank’s decision. -
