StandX, a decentralized perpetual futures exchange founded by the former head of Binance Futures, announced that it will gradually wind down operations and abandon plans to issue a platform token.

StandX’s mainnet launched in November 2025. It served over 237,000 users in total, with peak TVL exceeding $200 million, and experienced no security incidents involving user funds during its operation. The timeline has been set: yield distributions will stop and new deposits will close starting October 15; perpetual futures will switch to reduce-only mode starting October 20; all positions will be closed on January 15, 2027, and users can withdraw funds through January 31. The project will use its remaining revenue to airdrop DUSD to eligible users. Eligibility can be checked on October 26.
