The top three were ZK, up 7.76% with $21.8 million in trading volume; STRK, up 1.40% with $36.4 million; and PAXG, up 0.26% with $25.2 million. The third-place asset was a gold token—that ranking alone tells you something about today.
Both ZK and STRK are L2 scaling projects, and I couldn’t find any specific news about either of them today. The sector’s median was down 6.20% this morning, with breadth at zero, making it the worst-performing of the eight sectors. Yet these two constituents rose against the trend. Meanwhile, PAXG and XAUT gained 0.26% and 0.22%, respectively, with combined trading volume topping $90 million. Gold tokens ended the day in positive territory on a down day.
