🚨 Do hardware wallets have blind spots too? OneKey’s founder reveals the “last centimeter” of crypto asset security! ⚠️ OneKey founder Wang Yishi (Yishi) recently discussed supply chain security risks in hardware wallets, highlighting an issue worth attention: The real security vulnerability may not be inside the secure chip, but between the chip and the screen! 🔍 1. Why doesn’t a secure chip guarantee absolute security? Hardware wallets typically rely on secure chips to protect sensitive information. But if a recovery phrase needs to be displayed on the screen, the data transmission path between the chip and the display could also become an attack surface. If malicious components are implanted in the supply chain and sensitive data is not adequately protected during transmission, attackers may be able to bypass direct attacks on the secure chip itself. This is a reminder that: Wallet security isn’t just about how powerful the chip is—it also depends on the reliability of the device’s entire data pathway. 🛡️ 2. OneKey plans to strengthen protection in five areas According to Wang Yishi, OneKey plans to pursue the following improvements: 1️⃣ Upgraded anti-counterfeit packaging: Strengthen verification of production records to help users identify device irregularities. 2️⃣ A backup process that keeps recovery phrases off-screen: A new setup method is planned that will encrypt the recovery phrase and back it up to a backup card instead of displaying it directly on the screen. 3️⃣ Stronger protection for internal communications: Prioritize encrypting sensitive communication links inside the device, including the display connection. 4️⃣ Stricter reseller management: Resellers must give advance notice of changes in ownership or management; otherwise, their authorization will automatically be revoked. 5️⃣ Public reference photos of device internals: Help users compare the internal structures of different models and identify potential irregularities. In the AI × Web3 era, self-custody means more than holding your private keys. It also means understanding and managing risks, and building a security system that can stand the test of time. #比特币突破8.4万美元 $BTC

Stop Trading Crypto Blindly! The Crypto Market Has Quietly Changed in 2025 (A Must-Read for Everyone) [Part 3]
Now that we’ve talked about the fundamentals of the market and the psychological traps retail investors often fall into, let’s continue with a highly debated topic on X: many people say they’re long-term investors, but in practice they keep jumping in and out of the market. We’ll also look at whether the “on-chain signals” everyone talks about are really trustworthy, and consider a very practical question: should ordinary people really spend so much time specializing in crypto? Let’s start with the conflict between long-term and short-term investing. Many people who browse X follow a bunch of industry KOLs, read market commentary and project updates every day, and save loads of in-depth analysis posts. They tell themselves they’ll hold for the long term and won’t chase rallies or panic-sell. But as soon as the market moves, they can’t help opening their trading app. If a coin’s price dips just a few percentage points, they start getting nervous and scour posts for bad news. Then, when it shoots up, they worry about missing out and rush to buy more.
Huang Renxun recalls his trip to China: Every restaurant he visited treated him like a “spokesperson” Oct. 14 — Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang recalled his experiences during a visit to China this May on an episode released on Oct. 13 by well-known podcast host Lex Fridman. He said he received a warm welcome on the streets of Beijing, drawing crowds wherever he went. Even the restaurants he visited quickly turned him into a promotional mascot. Speaking about his trip to China, Huang exclaimed: “Oh my gosh, my trip to China was absolute chaos. Did you see what happened? I went to downtown Beijing, and it instantly got incredibly lively—it was complete mayhem.” He then joked that every restaurant he ate at had made him its “spokesperson.” “They were so quick about it. It probably took only half an hour before I was all over the internet, the promotional mascot for every restaurant.” On May 15 this year, while in Beijing, Huang visited places including Nanluoguxiang and sampled local specialties such as old Beijing zhajiangmian (noodles with soybean paste) and douzhi (fermented mung bean drink). Videos and photos of his visit quickly spread across social media, attracting widespread attention. According to earlier reports, Huang tried zhajiangmian at Fangzhuanchang No. 69 Zhajiangmian restaurant in Beijing and repeatedly praised it as “delicious.” News of his visit drew a rush of customers to the restaurant, which later introduced a special meal inspired by his signature leather jacket look.
