Tonight’s CPI data isn’t out yet,
but emotions are already running high 😅

The latest data from Santiment is pretty interesting:
FOMO is through the roof for ETH.
For every 1 bearish comment,
there are 2.05 bullish ones.
The price is hovering around 2,500,
and everyone’s talking about a rebound, staking, and upgrade expectations.

BTC and XRP are a completely different story.
BTC is at just 0.82,
and XRP just 0.92.
There are still more bears than bulls.

BTC tried to break $87K several times but couldn’t,
then fell back to around $81K.
Long positions have been liquidated again and again,
and people are getting a little gun-shy.
XRP is down more than 9% this week
and still hasn’t reclaimed $1.40.
Few people dare to make a bullish call out loud.

My own feeling is that
this kind of divergence is worth paying closer attention to 👀
Where everyone is excited,
when volatility really picks up, people can easily get trampled in the rush.
Where everyone is scared,
as long as CPI doesn’t deliver a nasty surprise,
a short squeeze could be the first move.

That’s not to say FOMO always means a drop,
or fear always means a rally.
But at a moment like this,
sentiment and positioning are more honest than the candlesticks.
Where everyone’s crowded together,
volatility is never small.

Which side worries you more tonight?
Afraid of chasing ETH and getting trapped,
or afraid BTC suddenly rallies and you miss out?
