Good morning. The market never let up last night.

Tensions in the Middle East have escalated again: six ships were attacked in the Strait of Hormuz in a single day, an oil tanker caught fire, and Iran’s Revolutionary Guard threatened to sink any U.S. warships that come near. On Kalshi, the odds that shipping through the strait will return to normal by October 2027 are just 44%. Nearly one-fifth of the world’s oil passes through this waterway, and with both sides trading threats from afar, oil prices are unlikely to fall easily.

For $BTC , the picture is pretty conflicted: on one hand, Fed official Collins says there could be another rate hike before year-end, tightening liquidity; on the other, geopolitical demand for safe havens is providing support. Saylor is still bullish as ever, calling this the “start of a bull market.” He’s never been short on confidence.

The RWA news is more exciting, though: S&P completed its first-ever on-chain derivatives swap; South Korea has scheduled the launch of its tokenized securities roadmap for February 2027, with a securities custodian choosing $AVAX to build the infrastructure; and the supply of tokenized stocks on Kamino has grown 15-fold in a year. TradFi is quietly moving assets on-chain—which is a lot more meaningful than staring at candlestick charts.

My take: In the short term, expect swings driven by Strait-related news and rate-hike expectations. Don’t get carried away. For the long term, hold spot and don’t get shaken out along the way.
