Woke up and the market hadn’t moved much. $BTC was still hovering around 83,000, while $ETH held at 2,500.
Everyone is waiting for tonight’s CPI report at 20:30. The market expects September inflation to come in at 3.6–3.7%, a little higher than August’s 3.4%, with core inflation around 2.5%. This is the last inflation report before the October 28 rate decision. U.S. stocks also closed slightly lower overnight, with the Dow down 0.35%. It feels like no one wants to make a move before the data comes out.
On nights like this, I usually don’t mess around. I wait for the data to come out and then see which direction the market takes.
