šŸ¤‘šŸ’µšŸ’³MASTERCARD EYES STABLECOIN PAYMENTS IN BRAZILā—

⚔Mastercard and Yellow Card are building infrastructure that could bring stablecoins closer to the global payments system.
The partnership focuses on four areas⤵

INTERNATIONAL REMITTANCES • B2B • TREASURY • LOYALTY
The idea is to combine Yellow Card’s blockchain infrastructure with Mastercard’s global network and security mechanisms, allowing banks, fintechs, and businesses to move funds between countries using stablecoins.
And Brazil is on the radar.
Yellow Card has already begun operations in the country and sees Latin America as one of the regions where this model could expand. The reason is striking⤵

šŸ”„ STABLECOINS AS $USDC ACCOUNTED FOR ~80% OF THE CRYPTOASSET VOLUME REPORTED IN BRAZIL, according to data cited from the Federal Revenue Service, based on information available through December 2025.
But a note of caution⤵

āš ļø MASTERCARD + YELLOW CARD HAVE NOT YET LAUNCHED THIS PRODUCT IN BRAZIL.
There is no specific launch date or confirmed Brazilian bank involved in the tests.
Separately, Mastercard is already expanding its own settlement infrastructure for regulated stablecoins such as USDC, $RLUSD , PYUSD, USDG, and $USDP , across different blockchains and markets.
The potential transformation is simple⤵

STABLECOIN → GLOBAL NETWORK → INTERNATIONAL PAYMENT
If this infrastructure reaches Brazil at scale, stablecoins could move beyond being assets held on exchanges and gain a foothold directly in traditional payment rails.

šŸ’¬IS BRAZIL ABOUT TO ENTER THE ERA OF GLOBAL PAYMENTS WITH STABLECOINS?
