A fellow crypto trader asked me how referral rebates work. I thought pretty much everyone knew, but it turns out some people really don’t.
The way rebates work is simple: whenever you trade on an exchange, you pay a fee on every transaction. Whether it’s spot or futures, that fee is unavoidable.
As a referral partner, Bangzhu is entitled to rebates. If you link my discount code, part of the trading fee is automatically returned to you. If you don’t, it all goes into the exchange’s pocket.
Trading fees in crypto aren’t cheap, especially for futures, where they’re calculated based on your leveraged position. If you use 10,000 U to open a 10x position, you’ll be charged fees on 100,000 U. For people who trade frequently, paying hundreds or even thousands of U in fees a month is perfectly normal.
Think about trading hundreds of thousands or even millions in volume over a year, and giving away all those fees without getting a cent back.
It adds up over time.
If you can get your money back, why wouldn’t you?
What’s the downside?
Scan the code anytime to ask about Bangzhu’s Binance referral ID.
