Same coin, so why do different data websites show different market caps?
Here’s how I understand it: The price of a coin with a small market cap is more easily affected by a single large order, so its price tends to fluctuate more sharply. Market cap alone doesn’t indicate whether a project is good or bad.
Circulating market cap is generally the latest price multiplied by the circulating supply. It’s one of the most commonly used figures for comparing the size of coins.
My rule of thumb: There’s no point judging whether a coin is “cheap” just by looking at its price. You need to consider its circulating supply and market cap too.
By the way: $BTC reports 83715.47 (24h +1.5%).
