Bitcoin volatility has intensified recently. After failing to break through $84,000, it plunged by more than $3,000 at one point, hitting a low of around $80,850 before rebounding to near $83,500.
Altcoins also fluctuated. #ETH briefly fell to $2,410 before rebounding by around $100. XRP recovered from $1.31 to $1.36, but was still down more than 3% over 24 hours.
