Bitcoin ETFs saw net inflows of $21.1 million on October 9, while Ethereum ETFs recorded net outflows of $10.3 million on October 12. Investors aren't all chasing the rally; divergence is more evident than the price moves.

Bitcoin still saw cumulative net outflows of $386.3 million over seven days, while Ethereum was weaker, with net outflows of $589.9 million. SOL and HYPE also saw outflows of $700,000 and $2.3 million, respectively, on October 12. A single day's inflows haven't reversed short-term caution.

The Fear and Greed Index stood at 57 on October 13, remaining in the Greed zone; the Altcoin Season Index was 68, with 34 assets outperforming Bitcoin in the 90-day sample. Sentiment is upbeat, but that doesn't mean capital is flowing into all major coins.

Which do you think is more likely: Bitcoin recovering first, or Ethereum continuing to be shunned by investors?
