ETH is starting to feel some pressure
It’s not about how much the price has fallen
It’s institutions voting with their feet

US spot Ethereum ETFs
have seen net outflows for 9 consecutive days
On Oct 9 alone, $56.1 million flowed out
That’s around $697 million over 9 days

By contrast, on the $BTC side
there was still a small inflow of $21.1 million that same day
BlackRock’s IBIT alone accounted for $22.4 million

Both are waiting for CPI
Both are worried the Fed may sound hawkish
But capital is clearly more willing to stay in BTC and take shelter
ETH has become the first one to get trimmed

Put simply, institutions are being very pragmatic right now
When uncertainty rises
they first protect liquidity and stick with the most liquid assets
ETH’s higher volatility becomes a drawback at times like this

Cumulative net inflows into ETH are still around $13.3 billion
The foundation is still there; it hasn’t collapsed
But unless this short-term outflow trend slows
the price will struggle to hold above around 2,500
