Market makers dump, while ETH quietly smiles? An ancient whale unloads 370 million, and the $BTC 80,000 defense battle begins!

“The whale makes a comeback while retail traders turn to dust! Be greedy when others are fearful—but you have to understand the big players’ cards!”

An ancient whale woke up after years of dormancy and moved 4,582 BTC! Meanwhile, institutions sold 837.8 BTC and rotated into 27,500 ETH. Although funds flowed in by 320 million over the past hour, net outflows over 12 hours exceeded 1 billion, creating immense selling pressure! The BTC 1-hour chart dipped to 80,344 before making a sharp V-shaped rebound; the current price is 82,799. Bearish MACD momentum is easing, and RSI(6) has recovered to 58, suggesting a short-term rebound may be due. But overhead moving-average resistance is clear. The liquidation map shows that longs below 80,000 have mostly been cleared out, while 16,000 shorts are stacked above 100,000. The big players could push the price up at any moment to trigger a short squeeze!

A-Yan’s trading strategy:
Short on a rebound: look to enter around 83,500–84,000 if resistance holds. Long on a pullback: look to enter around 81,200–81,600 if support holds.

Personal view: The big players are making a show of one thing while doing another; in the short term, this is wide-range shakeout trading triggered by whales rotating positions. Don’t blindly take on oversized positions, and keep an eye on ETH’s potential catch-up rally!
