A new report from P73 CryptoMarket Monitor provides “food for thought” for new hypotheses.

The most positive takeaway for those waiting for a price pullback to buy or close short positions is that the decline could be a quick long squeeze, lasting just three days from today—that is, October 13–15.

The reason for this hypothesis is that on a new daily candle, 21 assets at once, including #ETH, #BNB, #DOGE, #SOL, and #XRP, showed a potential low signal on the daily timeframe.

TOTAL, TOTAL2, and TOTAL3 also showed these signals.

So, if the decline in assets accelerates and the market produces a significant cluster of Strong signals indicating a potential low on hourly timeframes on October 13–15, we will make our first purchase for our conservative spot investment portfolio on copy trading. We’ll invest one-third of the total amount, depending on the circumstances.

But there is also an alternative, more bullish scenario for these potential-low signals on the daily timeframe: prices do not plunge on October 13–15, but continue to form a range, then rebound substantially from the potential-low signals on the daily chart, recovering to above $84,000–$85,000. We would rather not see this: the range has already been wearing traders down since September 21. Given the number of fresh sustained downtrend signals from our indicator across different timeframes, we still can’t consider a nonstop rally from current levels.

There is also an alternative bearish scenario, and it has some strong arguments in its favor:

- First, the new sustained downtrends:

-- as many as 29 assets from the TOP 200 have entered a sustained downtrend on the 4-hour timeframe (including #BTC and #ETH),

-- 7 assets have entered a sustained downtrend on the 12-hour timeframe,

-- 14 assets have entered a sustained downtrend on the daily timeframe.

- Second, the TOTAL3 metric (the crypto market capitalization excluding BTC and ETH) has entered a sustained downtrend on the daily timeframe. TOTAL2 (the crypto market capitalization excluding BTC) has already been in a downtrend since October 8. Taken together, this suggests the market correction could last longer than three days—at least for altcoins.

The Monitor itself provides several forecasts at once, as well as confirmation of a trend change for speculative trades to the upside. Based on the widespread potential-low signals on the daily timeframe, it gives the following key forecast:

"CAUTION — there is a high probability of a substantial bounce and short- to medium-term growth in the crypto market, starting in the coming days. The low could still be retested in the meantime."

The secondary forecasts emphasize that the probability of a new low is still high.
