🇬🇧🇮🇷 Britain is now PUBLICLY ACCUSING IRAN's Revolutionary Guard of directing a suspected attack on an American BOMBER BASE in England
Prime Minister Andy Burnham says the alleged plot against RAF Fairford was “highly likely” coordinated from Iran and almost certainly directed by the IRGC.
This is the same base American B-1 bombers used to launch strikes against Iran.
7 men have been arrested in connection with the investigation, although all were subsequently released on bail without charges. Police found petrol but no viable explosives.
U.S. officials suspect the plan involved a drone attack, and the threat was serious enough for Washington to withdraw its bombers.
IRAN DENIES any involvement.
What's particularly alarming is the possibility that Tehran was attempting to strike back at American military operations on British soil.
