Ledger said all confirmed cases in last week's suspected $87 million draining incident involve devices sold through reseller CryptoBilis. Ledger said its own systems and direct sales channels remain unaffected. Investigator Specter traced more than $86 million in suspected thefts, but Ledger has not confirmed that figure or identified the cause of the losses. Ledger said CryptoBilis confirmed that CryptoBilis has stopped all hardware wallet sales. Ledger urged CryptoBilis buyers not to set up unused devices and advised buyers who already have to move funds to a new seed phrase on a device bought from Ledger. Separately, an X user claimed to have found tampered Ledger devices in Europe, but those claims have not been independently verified.
