Bailiffs plan to increase collections from citizens to a record 152 billion rubles by 2029. The money is expected to come from fines imposed simply for having a debt. Meanwhile, the total amount of all debt recoveries could exceed several tens of trillions of rubles. In just the first eight months of this year, the agency has already collected 5 trillion rubles from debtors.
