At 1:05 PM Beijing time today, South Korean exchange Upbit added $RSR to its KRW and USDT spot markets.
$RSR is the governance token of the Reserve Protocol. It is used for staking and voting, and underpins the protocol’s on-chain index products, which are backed by baskets of assets and can be minted and redeemed.
With this fiat on-ramp in South Korea now open, RSR has gained another large-scale source of KRW liquidity. The announcement specifies that trading is supported only on the Ethereum network, and that trading restrictions will apply during the initial period after the market opens.
