BTC, meanwhile, has also received its third potential-high marker on the weekly timeframe. Not Strong, but still. To understand the significance of this signal, just remember that the last time the asset received such markers was in August 2025, near the ATH of the previous bull market.

Despite Sunday's bounce, we still expect the correction to have begun. A sustained uptrend on the 3-hour and 4-hour timeframes would call this expectation into question. But as long as the price maintains a sustained downtrend on the 12-hour and 18-hour timeframes, that expectation is definitely not invalidated.

Moreover, every significant Strong signal of a potential high (like the Strong signal on the hourly chart on Sunday) should be considered a likely end to the bounce before the start of this substantial correction.

We’re in no hurry to add to the short again, and are now unlikely to do so until the price returns to a sustained downtrend on the 3-hour timeframe. The position is already too large to add to at the extremes while the 3-hour timeframe is in an uptrend.
