After the Bitcoin candle closed, trading volume clearly contracted. If my analysis is correct, this big drop will first take the price to 80,000, then to 76,000, and finally it will find support in the 69,000–74,000 range.
Based on my own calculations, there won’t be a sudden drop on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or even Thursday. Instead, the price will fluctuate back and forth in the 83,000–84,500 range until all the indicators have reset to overbought levels, and then it will fall on Friday.
There’s CPI data coming out on Wednesday. If it meets expectations, that’s positive. If the data is higher than before, I’ll still consider that bearish. In that case, the drop could begin around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night, without waiting until Friday.
Technical factors and news work together. If my bearish outlook is right, news will follow to support the decline. Sometimes technical factors lead, and sometimes news does. The underlying pattern behind this shift is liquidity.
The market makers still have 1 billion worth of assets they haven’t sold. To offload them, they’ll inevitably have to push the price up and distribute their holdings. As long as they dare to push the price up to sell, I’ll add to my short position. Once distribution is complete, the price will drift down freely, followed by panic and an accelerating decline.
All these predictions are based on my own analysis and bearish outlook. They are for my personal use and for teaching my students only. I’ll teach my students the logic behind my predictions, but this is not investment advice. Please do your own analysis and take responsibility for your own profits and losses.
