TIA surged nearly 19% in a day and is now at $0.578. Why am I still willing to consider going long?
Looking at TIA’s 4-hour chart today, I noticed a pretty interesting detail.
TIA took off from around $0.47 and climbed all the way to $0.6332, attracting a lot of capital in a short time.
When many people see a move like this, they worry that the price has already risen too much.
But what I’m more concerned about now is whether it can hold its short-term trend after pulling back from the high.
TIA is currently trading around $0.578, and the 4-hour MA7 is also around $0.577. Although the last two candlesticks have looked weak and trading volume has declined somewhat, the price is still above the MA25.
My view is clear: the short-term outlook is bullish. I’d consider testing a long position with a small amount near the current price, but this is not a place to chase the rally with a large position.
Here’s my trading plan:
Entry reference: $0.575–$0.580.
Initial position: 20% of my planned total position—not going all in at once.
First target: $0.605. I’ll consider taking half off here and adjusting the protection level for the remaining position based on how the price moves.
Second target: $0.630–$0.633, near the previous high. If the price meets resistance on the way up, I’ll consider taking more profits.
I’ll only consider increasing my position if the price breaks back above $0.605 and holds there, with volume recovering. I won’t add to my position just because the price falls.
My risk management is also clear:
If the price falls below $0.558, I’ll consider this short-term long thesis invalidated and stop out. I won’t hold on and hope.
Why am I willing to consider getting in now?
Because you don’t always have to buy at the absolute bottom. I care more about whether the trend could continue and whether I can exit promptly if my view is wrong.
But I also won’t assume that TIA is bound to keep rising just because it’s up nearly 19% today.
I’m documenting the plan upfront: a small long near $0.578, take profit at $0.605, watch the previous high at $0.633, and admit I’m wrong at $0.558.
I’ll come back to review this later and see whether TIA can challenge its previous high again.
Do you think this rally has another leg in it, or has TIA already started pulling back after reaching a high?
