Sunday night, $BTC was hovering around 83k, and the market was eerily quiet.
The next few days are packed: Wednesday (10-14), the U.S. September CPI report, with expectations at 3.6–3.7%. Energy is pushing headline inflation up while core inflation is cooling—this kind of divergence is the most nerve-racking. The same institutions have been pulling money out of $ETH ETFs for nine straight days, yet just put some money back into BTC ETFs on Friday. Their stance is pretty conflicted.
On the charts, 85k is the hurdle above 83k; if it can’t break through, we’re likely to keep moving sideways. If 82k doesn’t hold, 80k is next. Put simply, whether the market can make a move in the next few days all depends on whether Wednesday’s CPI gives it a boost.
Me? I’m sitting tight for now. Adding or trimming positions before the data comes out is just gambling on gut instinct. I’ll take it one step at a time 🤣
