$MAGIC is up 19% today, currently at 0.1306. Looks pretty wild. This afternoon, instead of checking the gain first, I started by measuring how wide its range was today.
The 24-hour low was 0.0926 and the high was 0.1332. I subtracted the low from the high, then divided by the low: 44%. It might take it half a month to make a move that big. I was a bit stunned when I worked it out.
More importantly, the current price is 0.1306, just 2% below today's high. That means anyone getting in right now is buying near the very top, with another 29% downside to the 0.0926 low.
When the group was shouting that it was taking off, I didn't say a word. It's not that I'm bearish; once I did the math, I knew there was a good chance I'd be buying right at the edge.
