Sunday noon, and the market is so quiet it looks like it’s pretending to be asleep. That $BTC 82k line is practically a meme at this point.

But the quieter it gets, the more alert I become. I wrote about this just yesterday morning: $1.03 billion in profits were realized on-chain in a single day. Most people were asleep over the weekend, while someone was quietly counting their money. I’ve seen that kind of contrast plenty of times over the years.

There’s also some interesting news on the $ETH front. Lookonchain spotted three wallets that had been dormant for nine years, transferring 2,903 ETH to exchanges all at once. Their cost basis was just $9.9, locking in a 250x profit. Nine years of inactivity, then straight to an exchange—the only person who knows whether they’ll sell is the owner.

Gold has caught its breath, climbing back to 4,193 from its two-month low in the middle of the week. The 10-year Treasury yield has eased from 5.36% to around 5.24%, and things in the Middle East have quieted down for now. Gold thrives on that “no one dares to make a move” mood at times like this. We’ll see what Wednesday’s CPI brings.

My own position: $ZEC 1231, bought at an average of 1,203, now up a little over 2%. The stop-loss at 1,088 is still in place. I’ve already bought this ticket; all that matters is being able to sleep at night.

XRPN lists on Nasdaq tomorrow, and the 473 million XRP treasury company officially takes its seat at the table. Let’s see if XRP keeps pretending to be asleep.

No trades on Sunday afternoon. If the market doesn’t move, neither do I. I’ll reassess tomorrow.
