There was some interesting on-chain action this weekend: two whales went in completely opposite directions.
On one side, UNI OG web3vc, who bought in at $9 a year ago and rode the roller coaster for a whole year, transferred $UNI 179万 tokens (about $13.18 million) to an exchange yesterday. If they really sell, they’ll be admitting defeat and taking a loss of nearly $3 million. That’s gotta hurt 🤣
On the other side, two addresses withdrew $ETH 5965 tokens, worth about $14.89 million, from an exchange within 20 minutes. Funds are still being moved as USDC to new addresses, and it looks like they’re planning to keep buying.
One side cutting losses, the other buying the dip—that’s how divided the on-chain scene is this weekend. No clear direction yet, so I’m sitting tight for now.
There’s a new twist with XRP too: XRPN lists on Nasdaq tomorrow, and the treasury company holding 473 million XRP officially takes its seat. But $XRP is still snoozing at 1.38–1.40—the stage is set, but nobody’s shown up. Pretty interesting 👀
Over in US stocks, SpaceX won 800MHz of spectrum and is set to become a carrier. The Big Three telecoms got hammered 8–13% on Friday, while SPCX itself gained 1%. One headline outside market hours can send an entire sector into a year’s worth of volatility. US markets really are on edge.
