Looking back at last week’s chart 😅, we need to be honest and take a hard look at ourselves, everyone. We made 13 calls in total, and of the 9 that have results so far, only 2 were winners while 7 went bust. A 22.2% win rate is really bad, and we need to take it seriously.

Let’s break down the losing trades 💀: $ERA SHORT on 10-09 at 0.0631 and MINA SHORT on 10-08 at 0.0834 both broke their invalidation levels (0.065500 and 0.095000), moving against expectations. Notably, BTC LONG on 10-05 at 85,668.24 was a misread of the compression, as the 83,800.000000 level was completely smashed through. Clearly, I underestimated the sellers. The other LONG trades, such as NEAR (early in the week), ZEC, GTC, and SAND, met the same fate, with all their invalidation levels being hit. Last week’s entry signals clearly weren’t working well.

The only winning trade was NEAR LONG on 10-06 at 5.226, which fortunately hit the 5.550000 target. That was a rare bright spot.

The biggest lesson 📒: Markets are hard to predict, and a compression doesn’t always break out the way we expect. Staying on the sidelines when there’s no clear signal is the safer choice. Always be decisive about cutting losses.
