This mining company didn’t keep a single coin
Bitdeer just reported its weekly figures: it mined more than 300 bitcoins this week and sold them all.
The company has zero bitcoins on its own balance sheet, excluding customer deposits.
When people see miners selling coins, their first thought is often that they’re about to dump the market.
But it’s been doing this for the past few weeks—selling as soon as it mines, not suddenly making a run for the exits.
Bitcoin is hovering around $83,000 right now. The market can absorb a few hundred coins a week.
My read: Bitcoin has rebounded, but miners still aren’t holding on to a single coin. I’m in no hurry to add to my position.
