More Onchain Isn't Always Better ⚙️
This might sound backwards.
But I don't think every piece of computation belongs directly on a blockchain.
If an application needs to analyze millions of historical records just to produce one useful answer, forcing the execution layer to reproduce that entire workload isn't necessarily the elegant solution.
Space and Time takes the specialized route.
📚 Large datasets stay at the data layer
🧮 SQL handles the heavy computation
🔐 Proof of SQL verifies the result
⛓️ Applications consume the answer
That's an architecture I think becomes increasingly relevant as ecosystems like $POL scale more complex applications.
Blockchains are exceptionally good at consensus and execution.
They don't need to become giant databases too.
Sometimes better infrastructure means giving each layer fewer jobs, not more.
